Circular Rainbow (slide 8)
Here's a close-up, shot with the 200mm lens, of the glory you can see near the right edge of image 4. You don't often see anything like this with your feet on the ground. Pilots seem them any time the sun is behind them shining onto cloud cover. The phenomenon is truly a rainbow, circular because of the compass of clouds. If the earth didn't interfere with rainstorms, all rainbows would be full circles.
