General Notes:The oil pastel experiment has largely failed because I become too fussy when allowed to work endlessly on one thing. The resulting funk affects sculpture. Why bother doing anything at all? Eventually, however, I learn something. What do I like doing? Design. The problem with permanent art is that the design process is a small part of the production. After the design the rest is just filling in. I prefer the dynamic challenge of designing and producing on the fly. |
Design Notes:Having a head full of confusion doesn't help when making a sculpture. Still, a bad day on the beach is pretty good. This sculpture was one step on the process of learning about design. |
